The Relapse, available as a pre-mounted in green compound for 1/8th truck racers, is a tire derived from research and development put into tires such as the Detox and Rehab. Those results were incorporated into a design optimized for indoor and outdoor track success while delivering more forward bite than the original incarnations.
The design revolves around the center structure which has medium to small sized, dense lugs arranged in a stacked and horizontal configuration. The lugs have strategically placed cuts and grooves to allow flex in dust to perform when the track is in a deteriorating condition. The outer portion of the tread fits together like building blocks, with shapes placed together that nest well but also work together to flex laterally to provide steadfast side-bite. The tread tapers off cleanly to the outer sidewall giving a smooth transition during hard cornering.
The Dirt-Tech insert, popularized by its durable nature and gray color, is used in the pre-mounted tire assembly. The 4.0" bead mounting diameter #3369 Mono wheel is the center point of the assembly and mounts to just about every 1/8th racing truck on the market. The pre-mounted combination is available in bright white, and florescent yellow colors to match just about any paint scheme.
