The 3mm thread base grips well into plastic or when used against aluminum holes found routinely in the suspension components. Always use a light amount of thread locking compound (not included) when placing screws in aluminum. Please note that burnt blue colors have intentional sporadic coloring ranging all around the blue spectrum.
