The cutting edge RWD drift machine is finally here as a chassis kit!
Drifting, which involves dramatically sliding the car body, has become one of the most popular categories of R/C cars. In particular, 1/10 scale EP drift cars with RWD (rear-wheel drive) are a star attraction in the R/C car world, as they allow for spectacular counter-steering drifts. Kyosho has also developed the 1/10 RWD drift chassis, FAZER D2, and has been selling it as a ready-to-run set combined with a realistically sculpted Toyota 86GT body. And now, a chassis kit without a body or mechanics, which has been highly requested by fans, is making its debut! The FAZER D2 chassis kit is basically the same as the chassis for the conventional ready-to-run set, but parts that were previously optional are now standard equipment, resulting in improved driving performance and an expanded range of settings. The optional parts have also been carefully selected to be optimal for tuning up from the normal kit, so it will exhibit outstanding drift performance just by assembling the chassis kit. Another key point is that the motor mounting position, which is highly effective in adjusting the driving characteristics, can be changed. Furthermore, it is equipped with the variable wheelbase mechanism that was a characteristic of the FAZER D2 chassis, and combined with the rear tread (vehicle width) adjustment function, it can accommodate almost all commercially available 1/10 scale bodies. Despite its reasonable price, the FAZER D2 chassis kit delivers performance comparable to a pure competition drift machine, and has the potential to become a new standard machine for RWD drifting.

- Uses a battery holder that can accommodate battery packs of different sizes, allowing most general-purpose R/C car battery packs to be installed.
- Machine screws are used instead of the tapping screws of the ready set, allowing for high-precision assembly.
- A total of 22 ball bearings are standard equipment for the drivetrain and steering.
- Tuning up is also possible using a wide range of optional parts.
