SC-3SWP3 Crawler Edition Waterproof ESC featuring a unique Hill Descent Control (HDC) feature.
The SC-3SWP3 is a powerful and durable speed controller that is also fully waterproof, making it the only choice for anyone who enjoys playing on the beach, in snow or even through mud!
The ESC is programmed with the use of jumpers to select one of three settings:
1) F/R with 100% Drag Brake - Crawler mode for steep and rough terrain.
2) F/R with 80% Drag Brake - HDC mode for moderately steep terrain
3) F/B/R Drag Brake Off - Higher speed, open trail driving
The Hill Descent Control (HDC) function will maintain a smooth controlled speed while descending. When the throttle position is at neutral, brakes will be applied automatically. Additional braking can be applied manually as needed for extreme descents. Once throttle position is returned to neutral, HDC will continue to function.
If you've got plenty of power to strap into your RC, you can count on the SC-3SWP3 to handle it: able to handle LiPo power of 2S and 3S or between 5 and 9 NiMH cells, this speedo can handle just about anything you can fit into the chassis! Of course, a safety cut-off is fitted to protect your LiPo batteries.
