- DRIVETRAIN: The R3 Single Speed Transmission comes with a tough cast metal case and wider gears for durability and a Delrin Spur with Slipper Clutch for performance. It also features a sturdy billet aluminum motor mount for added toughness. The Trail Finder 2 Chassis includes the Hammer Transfer Case that features a cast metal exterior and heavy-duty .8 Mod Widened Gears, ensuring lasting functionality. Drawing on the success of the RC4WD MOA Gear Sets, the Trail Finder 2 Chassis has the most durable gears RC4WD has to offer, capable of staying on the trail day after day. The RC4WD Yota II Ultimate Scale Cast Axles (XVD) are the most scale-accurate on the market, featuring 8-degree round knuckles, removable diff covers, lower mounting points, and a compact offset pumpkin. Designed for versatility, they accommodate leaf springs in over-axle and under-axle configurations, eliminating the need to flip the axle. The driveshafts found on the Trail Finder 2 Chassis feature heavy-duty uni-joint metal shafts for great driveline angles and durability on the trail.
- SUSPENSION: The Trail Finder 2 Chassis features a molded fuel cell that doubles as an electronics storage box plus an aluminum, frame-mounted under cab electronics tray for multiple electronics mounting options. RC4WD Ultimate Scale Shocks deliver precision and durability. These rebuildable shocks are machined from billet aluminum and feature an internal spring design. Equipped with X-ring technology, they provide multiple sealing points for superior protection against leaks and contamination, ensuring cleaner operation, longer performance life, and reliability. The Trail Finder 2 Chassis is a machined billet aluminum ladder frame design with leaf springs, scale shock hoops, chassis servo mounts and hard body mounts. The Trail Finder 2 includes a set of Stamped Steel 1.7" Beadlock SR5 Wheels (Chrome). These wheels have proportional hex bolts, hubs, and two printed wheel caps. Every off-road truck needs a set of tough tires, and the Trail Finder 2 comes equipped with RC4WD BFGoodrich All Terrain K02 1.7" Scale Tires with X2S3 compound to deliver proper traction!
Notes:
- While some components may come assembled, we always recommend that you check the products to ensure all hardware is tight. In some cases, you may want to apply thread lock to some of the hardware that is already installed.
- Use good quality hex drivers to avoid stripping screw heads.
- Use thread lock sparingly.
- Do not over tighten screws, otherwise you may strip the thread.
